In our video production program, we teach comprehensive skills in production and post production. Our instructors show you how to take a simple idea and turn it into a fully formed project. Upon successful completion of the video engineering program, graduates will be qualified to apply for entry-level employment in one or more of the following positions:

  • Editing Assistant/E-2 (2nd engineer)
  • Off-Line Video Editor
  • Video Camera Operator
  • Lighting Designer
  • Grip
  • Duplication Engineer
  • CG Operator
  • Equipment Sales
  • Installation Technician

VideoWorks Program Courses Include:

  • Basic Video Technology – 48 hours
  • Video Camera Technology – 48 hours
  • Lighting for TV and Video – 40 hours
  • Non-Linear Digital Video Editing – 68 hours
  • Character Generation for TV and Video – 24 hours
  • Graphics Design for TV and Video – 36 hours


With 136 lecture hours and 128 lab hours devoted to your instruction, you can feel confident pursuing a career after you graduate. Typical full-time classes occur four days per week, last four hours per day and continue 19 to 22 weeks. Part-time classes occur two days per week, last for four hours per day and continue 41 to 44 weeks.

Avid Xpress Pro & Apple Final Cut Pro User Certification Testing Fee (1 sitting each)
Blank Mini DV Video Tape (3 each)
