"Circumstances dictate"

Bill Riley has been performing professionally since 1959 at age thirteen. In the early seventies he was a member of the one-hit wonder group "The Glass Bottle" and while he was not on the original recording he took over as lead singer on the the group's hit "Ain't Got Time Anymore" when the original lead singer left the group. In addition to traveling on the road and working as opening act for such Rock'n'Roll Revival acts as 'Dion & the Belmonts', 'The Jive Five' and 'The Impalas', Bill has been an actor, magician and comedian. Bill took to Broadcasting and DJ work in the late 80's and worked at WGRX, WQSR/WBMD and WXCY as well as Mobile DJ work in many Baltimore area clubs. Bill spent 18 years as Admissions Director, Placement Director and Radio Director for the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland before coming to The Sheffield Institute as Director of Broadcasting. Currently Bill performs all around the country as Bud Abbott in "The Ultimate Abbott and Costello Tribute Show"
