MIDI Room

		The MIDI Classroom is where students get to experience hands-on time with cutting-edge technology in MIDI and Digital Audio hardware and software. Each of the eight lab stations contain a MIDI production studio with equipped with MIDI controllers, sound modules, software synthesizers, drum machines and Macintosh-based sequencing software. Each station also contains a Pro Tools Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) where students can record, edit, mix and process audio all within the computer environment. Students will complete projects that require interfacing gear within the studio, troubleshooting hardware/software, file management, recording, mixing, editing, automation, signal processing, audio-for-video, synchronization and more.
